Where are we going next?
SNAPIQS cannot continue its mission without your help and donation.
The Southern Nevada Asian Pacific Islander Queer Society (SNAPIQS) mission is to serves all Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions (SOGI/E or LGBT*) in the Southern Nevada region. Through social and cultural activities, education, mentorship, awareness, and advocacy, we aim to create an inclusive, affirming, and empowering community.
As an all-volunteer, grassroots organization, we have been dedicated to providing a safe space to inspire individuals to be their best selves, for others to celebrate our diversity, and for all of us to continue the fight for equality.
We are raising money to support our SNAPIQS Scholarship program to help LGBTQIA+, Asian Pacific Islander, and/or First Generation college, technical schools in Southern Nevada. Additionally, your donations can help us to purchase supplies, maintain free programmings, help us give back to the community, and more.
Your donation to SNAPIQS is now tax deductible because we are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization.

Socials
SNAPIQS social events are creating space a safe place and a supportive community that encourages growth.
Education
Our work is rooted in the many legacies of queer and trans API people who have fought isolation, battled for our rights, and created communities of care. To understand where we’re going, we need to understand the successes and challenges of our elders and ancestors.
Mentorship
SNAPIQS builds queer and transgender Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American power to amplify our voices and increase the visibility of our communities. Through organizing in Southern Nevada, we inspire and train grassroots leaders, transform our values from scarcity to abundance, and partner with organizations to sustain a vibrant movement ecosystem.
Awareness
We speak up loud and clear when we have to, like decrying the latest attacks on our black lives, transgender, and immigrant communities. We mobilize our members to come out and vote, knock door to door, whatever we can to help advocates for our community and influence laws affecting our well-being.
Pivot
Pivot encourages families to be more accepting of their children and stay together with healthy, positive outcomes. This 6-week group for youth and caregivers answers questions and provides support through a safe, confidential, constructive space to address fear and concerns about what it means to identify as LGBTQIA+, encourages personal growth, and offers community support to individual journeys.
